I live about 30 miles out of Chicago, Illinois.

I’ve known how to sew since 7th grade. Currently own a Sapphire machine that I use for most of my projects. The majority of my projects are making purses of all types. I want to start designing my own purses, so that I don’t have issues with copyright laws of others. You can visit my ETSY shop and view some of my items.

My mom started me on machine embroidery around 2001 when I got her Brother 8500. I upgraded to a Brother PR600 in 2003. I am very satisfied with Brother embroidery machines and have referred people to check out what they have to offer. I do all types of embroidery and have another ETSY site just of embroidery items.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 at the age of 42. I would greatly appreciate if you click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.

I am married and have two wonderful kids. I’ve enjoyed bringing them up to become responsible adults. I am an animal lover of all sorts and currently have a husky/german shepard. My son got her while I was dealing with my breast cancer.

I currently work for a communications company and looking forward to retiring in June of this year. Hopefully I can devote more time to my sewing and embroidery, as well as get a part time job to afford to live in this economy.
